WINTER BEGINNERS YOUTH TRAINING GROUP

REGISTRATION IS OPEN



DESCRIPTION:  An introduction to track and field. Speed, agility and coordination will be emphasized throughout the trainings.


AGES:  9-14 year old boys and girls

MAX GROUP SIZE:  12
LOCATION:  Cal Poly track



8 WEEK SESSION

DATES: NOVEMBER 28 - FEBRUARY 1, 2023

* NO TRAINING DECEMBER 22 - JANUARY 8                                    

DAYS: Mondays and Wednesdays
TIME: 4:00 - 5:00pm

COST: $240

WINTER INT/ADV YOUTH TRAINING GROUP

 REGISTRATION IS OPEN


DESCRIPTION**:  Intermediate/Advanced training group for young track athletes looking to improve fitness and performance primarily in running events.  Emphasis will be on running form, sprint endurance and aerobic fitness.  Injury prevention and event specific skills will also be covered.  

** New athletes must contact us for approval to sign up for int/adv group.  


AGES:  12-17 year old boys and girls 

REQUIREMENTS:  Intermediate level running ability and the willingness to work at trainings.  

MAX GROUP SIZE:  12

LOCATION:  Cal Poly track
COST:  $360  


8 WEEK SESSION

DATES:   NOVEMBER 29 - FEB 9, 2023 

*NO TRAINING DECEMBER 22 - JANUARY 8                                     

DAYS: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays

TIME:  4:00 - 5:15pm

HIGH SCHOOL THROWS TRAINING

Currently on hold

  

Ages:  High School Athletes


Frequency:  Two days per week for 6 to 8 weeks

Location:  Cal Poly Track

Description:  Mechanical and technical training focused on optimizing athletic performance within all throws events.  Strength and conditioning training will be included as well.
